"On towpaths and church paths between Vechte and Ems" is the name of the tour on the Bentheim Tourismus website. After Nordhorn, the route follows the Ems-Vechte Canal for a long stretch. Here it is mostly straight ahead and the landscape does not change much. This changes from Ellbergen and it becomes more varied.
Beautiful route, very varied. Thanks to Heribert 😇

We did the tour on July 20th, 2024, but started in Lingen/Hanekenfähr.
A great tour that we would like to recommend. 👍🏻👍🏻
However, the bike path along the Ems-Vechte canal is a bit "rustic" in places. 🤔
