Today a fairytale tour awaits you through the varied nature of Oisterwijk. You can enjoy beautiful forests and idyllic fens for about 3.3 kilometers.
The route starts at the Oisterwijk visitor center, where you can get information about the area and view the corona monument. Then you continue towards Boshuis Venkraai.
Are you not fully awake yet? Then you can have a cup of coffee at this attractive forest house before continuing the route. This is a wonderfully cozy location for a snack and a drink all year round, but if you are going for a high fairytale atmosphere, you should not miss this destination, especially in winter. Please note that the Boshuis is wheelchair accessible, but does not have a wheelchair-friendly toilet.
From the Boshuis you roll towards two extensive fens: the Groot Kolkven and the Voorste Goorven. Gazing over the serene water that gently ripples between the woods, you will completely relax. Between the two fens you will find the geographical center of Oisterwijk!
You can park at the Oisterwijk visitor center. Here you will also find a wheelchair-friendly toilet. If you have a manual wheelchair, it may be nice to have someone with you on the tour today. The tour is difficult to reach by public transport.
