Gravel riding
Born from the Riva del Garda BIKE Festival, the Specialized Lake Bash is a route available in two variants, of which the "Epic" version is demanding and is recommended for those with experience and training. The route is decidedly varied: asphalt serpentines and gravel climbs await you, but also flat passages with splendid views, descents on paths and a flowy finish.
The Tour starts from one of the numerous car parks in Riva del Garda, which you can reach by car but also with the public transport service. Unlike the "Juicy" variation, this "Epic" variation of the Lake Bash takes you on a ride of 102 kilometers and about 2,000 meters of elevation gain.
Start going up the valley to the splendid Lake Tenno, where the forest road takes you into an unforgettable forest near the Ballino Pass. Once you have also passed this mythical pass, you reach the Fiavé plateau and face a couple of demanding climbs up to Passo della Morte which, despite its name, offers a spectacular view of the Brenta Dolomites.
With a passage on the Valle dei Laghi cycle path, the steep descent begins that takes you back to the Sarca Valley: it crosses the area of the Marocche di Dro Biotope, the largest landslide in the entire Alpine arc. After a circumnavigation of Lake Cavedine, return to Riva via some white roads in excellent condition and vineyards, without missing out on a view of the splendid Castello di Arco.

The technical parts remained.
Personally I recommend generous coverages (at least a 45) and very agile gears (with a 1:1 ratio some of the climbs in the first part - up to the descent from Passo della Morte - I find them complicated without EXCELLENT …

For the first 60 km, the route is decidedly challenging, technical and not easy (80% roads and paths already done).
Defining it as Gravel as I like it fits... I don't know how much it can "adapt" to those who think of Gravel …

Simple but not trivial and with significant slopes (often above 20%).
