Surprised by the rain.. found a great hut and then had a great tour
We walk towards the bus station at Rifugio Sci, then turn uphill. It gets dark again. It gets steeper on gravel paths. The paths gradually become more exposed. Near Rifugio Rosalm it starts to thunder. It is closed anyway and we pass on the option of going to Pfannspitze. We arm ourselves with our rain jackets and pants. It soon starts to rain and thunder. Nevertheless, it is a really beautiful path. The alpine roses are just starting to bloom. The path is exposed, with wooden bridges... wonderful. There are always trees under which it is dry. Then the up and down ends and we are soon at a bend where the Schatzerhütte is not far away. Tour is highly recommended 😃
Small, varied tour in the Dolomites. Overnight stays at the Parkhotel Plose are cheap and the staff there are extremely friendly.
