Benno Bauer Cycle Path

The Benno Bauer Cycle Route takes you almost 24 km through the diverse landscape of the Kraichgau region and offers fascinating insights into the world of agricultural production.

Benno Bauer, as a chatty protagonist, entertains children and reveals all sorts of amazing facts about the landscape and animals along the way, while nine stations provide variety along the route.

The varied cycle route takes you over rolling hills from Sulzfeld to Zaisenhausen. Then, it climbs and descends steadily to Oberderdingen and Kürnbach, passing meadows, farmland, and vineyards. With the exception of a short section between Sulzfeld and Kürnbach, the circular route is entirely on paved surfaces. You'll find route signs in the form of the logo at every fork in the road. In between, follow the green arrow signs. The route can be ridden in both directions.

A shortcut, although not marked with the BeBa cycle path sign, is available between Zaisenhausen and Kürnbach. The S-Bahn stops along the route offer another option for shortening the route.
