Hiking

The panoramic path keeps what it promises: you can expect incomparable views of the surrounding mountains and the Salzach Valley. The entire eight kilometers run steadily downhill - a special highlight is the slide path. The starting point of your tour is the mountain station of the Wildkogelbahn, which you take up from Neukirchen am Großvenediger.

The panoramic path winds its way down the slope in a zigzag, with several rest and relaxation areas inviting you to enjoy and marvel. You can stop at the small Bergeralm before you reach the middle station of the Wildkogelbahn.

Afterwards, a unique experience awaits you, because this is where the slide path begins: You can use ten slides to take a shortcut up to the Gasthof Stockenbaum - fun for young and old. On slide mats (obligatory), which you can rent at the middle station, you fly further and further down, with the best view.

A comfortable hiking trail takes you back to the center of Neukirchen at the end of the slide path. Alternatively, you can use the slide path bus (registration in advance at +43 664 1406069).

Slide path.- 10 slides of 3 levels of difficulty had to be mastered between the middle station and Stockenbaum.. oh dear, we laughed and yodeled so much on this slide path An all-round successful day... my summit cross has to wait, but ultimately we had a lot of fun and good conversations and that is what is much more important than a cross ❤️ P.S. Since I was walking behind at times, I found a lucky worm (thanks Juliane) and a hiking stone (thanks running snail Romy)
