This route was planned by komoot.
I thought with all the bad weather I would walk closer to home, a nostalgic walk around Welwyn Garden City using the Centenary Walk route. Started of wet and windy and ended warm and clear. Route wet and muddy through the wooded sections, two tunnels under the roads were flooded, there are routes around. I was able to walk through with waterproof walking boots, about 3-4 inches deep water. (This walk was the day after Storm Ciaran) I had a few technical issues with GPS and had to restart my phone so point A is already a mile into the walk, the actual start point was Welwyn North Station. Looking at the route the left-hand side of the walk is much more interesting than the right-side walk of Welwyn GC. In the summer will walk the left-hand side again and add in trips to the 3-4 country pubs en route.
