Quite a strenuous hike, partly on an old pilgrimage route, with wonderful views, scents and the song of cicadas.
Capo Noli is a rocky promontory between Varigotti and Noli and is crossed by numerous paths that intersect and that give the possibility of making excursions suitable for all legs and all the points that you want to touch. This tour touches many panoramic points of the promontory, as well as some buildings of historical interest, of which however only ruins remain (church of Santa Margherita, tower of the Witches and church of San Michele Arcangelo). I recommend the EE variant to reach the summit of Capo Noli (marked in highlights), where a little attention is needed for the exposure and to not lose the track.
We started the hike from a large public parking lot. It took 5 hours and cost about €11 with easyPark. There are some sections on the tour that are a bit bumpy, but if mountain bikes can get down there, then hikers can too. Overall, though, it's an easy hike. There are some beautiful views, and the descent to the grotto is worth it. Enjoy your hike.
Short but worthwhile hike from Noli / Liguria to Capo Noli. From the city it goes very steeply up, then more flat or leisurely downhill. Again and again very nice views of the Ligurian coast.
