Trail Reviews

Ligurien
July 3, 2024, 🇮🇹 Finale Ligure - Finalborgo - Varezzi - Finale Ligure

Finale Ligure - known among mountain bikers and climbers. We wanted to take a look and it was worth it. Finale Ligure has a beautiful beach. Finalborgo is the old town with many beautiful corners. Varezzi - we wanted to have lunch at the Osteria Bar La rosa dei venti. The internet said that the Osteria is open from 12 noon on Wednesdays. It was, but on Wednesdays they only serve drinks at lunchtime and food in the evening. But everyone was very friendly. The location of the bar is brilliant. The square consists of 2 churches, which Grandma opens when the Osteria is open. The food is cooked in the room next to the church and the sea view from up there is brilliant. 👍👍

Today a nice round trip of the Caprazoppa starting from the beautiful medieval village of Finalborgo, the tour is easy and even if the difference in height is about 350 meters if you go up to the left of the wider dirt road the effort of the Dalitaninsi makes you feel .. you have to be careful to cross the road that leads to the starting point of the sentiro at 250 meters from the town of Finalborgo towards the sea, because it is very busy with cars and there is poor visibility and little space available .. returning to the path is very beautiful, panoramic views of Finalborgo, Finale and the sea reached the top of Caprazoppa. You cross the Mediterranean scrub with strawberry trees and many stretches in the holm oak woods .. the only negative note is that in some points the path signs are lost and especially on the way back it is not easy to find the left turn to get to the pitch with the door, under the church of San Martino di Verezzi .. reference point for the right turn to take the path back down through the woods that leads to the starting point in Finalborgo
