nice walk. but do yourself a favor and go through the old town of Workum
Today is day 4 of this series. We have an extensive breakfast at the hotel and head out. Just after 12 we are already in Hindeloopen, about 2/3 of the day's distance. A very nice town! Here we walk around and have a drink and a simple lunch on a terrace. We continue to Workum. And that town is absolutely beautiful. Beautiful houses, beautiful center and of course the Jopie Huisman museum. A nice museum with a nice audio tour and short film about Jopie's life. And of course his paintings. Very interesting. There are a small number of beautiful restaurants in the center and we enjoy the warmth of the Workummers here. Another very successful day! One of the more beautiful routes!
How beautiful our country is. Today we enjoyed the green Friesland over the IJsselmeerdijk. It was chilly, but lovely sunny weather. A recommendation!
