Highlight • Summit

Both Black Hill and nearby Sorrel Hill are great out and back run or hike outings and can be completed from the same sizeable car park at Ballynultagh Gap. These trails are very popular for a good reason, some great views can be had out over the Wicklow countryside from here.

On many of the peak bagging and outdoor websites I perused for this trip, I noted there were very few route descriptions regarding ascents of the lesser-known Irish Marilyns. This also applied to the availability of GPX files. I will therefore add relevant information and files that will hopefully provide assistance …
