This route was planned by komoot.
Even though the Rouge Feigne raised bog wasn't supposed to arrive until about halfway through the route, on the unpaved paths through meadows at the beginning of the route (probably cross-country ski trails in winter), I had the feeling for the first few kilometers up to the old biathlon facility that I was already walking through the bog – after rainy days, it's probably better to take the slightly higher, paved path here. After just over 2.5 km, the whole thing took on the character of a mountain hike, climbing a narrow (no longer muddy) path, sometimes with tight switchbacks – a bit more strenuous than before, but very beautiful. Once at the top, the path flattens out again, and at some point I reached the bog – the reddish shimmer of the moor grass unfortunately doesn't come across well in the photos. The path back down was unfortunately a boring hiking highway, but the Lac de Lispach as the final highlight made up for this. The circular path around the moor lake with its small dam offers beautiful views, benches invite you to rest, and butterflies and dragonflies are on the move.
