This short tour is almost entirely uphill. You start in the Fuscher valley on the Grossglockner road. The forest path leads you through sparse forest along some small streams. Again and again you have beautiful views of the Fuscher valley and the Glockner group in the south.
After four bends and around 600 meters in altitude you will reach the managed Ponyhofalm. Here you can strengthen yourself later and draw new strength. But now you move on. After another 100 meters of altitude you will reach the unserviced Schnableralm, the destination of this tour. Treat yourself to a moment of rest and enjoy the mountain panorama.
For the return trip, simply follow the path back to the Ponyhofalm. Now you really deserve the break at the hut. Later, you return to the valley via the way there.
