Extremely steep ascent at the beginning and towards the end on a gravel path... Feasible with a lot of grip and stamina, but not recommended, route via the Jenner middle station is more pleasant (see way back)
The tour to the Gotzenalm is a classic bike ride if you are in Berchtesgaden. The tour takes you directly to the Gotzenalm and back again (Schönau am Königsee). The small footpath (directly from the Gotzenalm) to the "Feuerpalfen" lookout point should definitely be on your itinerary, as here you have a breathtaking view of the Königsee and Watzmann with its glacier. This view (up to the Gotzenalm) requires a lot of sweat and muscle power, as, as is usual in the Berchtesgadener Land, the climbs are sometimes very steep. You will definitely have to put in a bit of energy, but you will be rewarded with delicious treats on the Gotzenalm.
Today we went to the Gotzenalm. From the Jennertal station, up to the Königsbachalm, with steep climbs, we continued up to the Gotzenalm with fantastic views of Lake Königssee. Once at the top of the Gotzenalm, be sure to take a detour to the Feuerpalfen viewing platform, best done on foot, with a magnificent view of St. Bartholmä.
From Hinterbrand. I found the upper part not so easy to ride, quite steep...down.....so very slowly and comfortably 😇🤩 - great tour, great day...BUT NOT IN THE SEASON

It is a strenuous tour, but the panorama is unique
The hardest tour I've ridden so far. But the view rewards for the leg pain.
