This route was planned by komoot.
Mostly walked the route of the klompenpad Jufferpad (https://klompenpaden.nl/klompenpad/jufferpad/). This walk connects to (and can possibly be combined with) the following other walks I walked in the same area: https://www.komoot.com/tour/1424464508 https://www.komoot.com/tour/308928048
After rain and a bit of hail came sunshine. A beautiful varied route with beautiful historical parts. Over new estates and along the beautiful Renswoude castle. A beautiful route, highly recommended. Please note that from tomorrow, March 15, some parts are prohibited due to the breeding season of meadow birds... On the way there is also a beautiful and nice restaurant de pines, where you can rest for a while or eat or drink something.
I hadn't walked a clog path for a while, but I still enjoy it a lot. I had never walked the Jufferpad before. There are nicer clog paths, but this one has a real clog path feeling. Really large stretches through meadows between the sheep. There is also some asphalt in between, but really a nice route to walk. Along the way also some (war) culture. Number of bunkers and memorial sites. In short, a nice walk in the farmland.
Number 100 on the list of clog paths. This route crosses a number of other clog routes in the area. The start is to take a good look at the signs. It is not always easy to indicate how to walk. After an hour's walk you will arrive at more varied terrain and beautiful surroundings. Parts of this route are not accessible from March 15 to June 15. Also, the dog is not welcome everywhere. Also pay attention to the Klein Wittenoord estate. This is private property and the dogs must be on a leash there. There are some beautiful birds here. Green woodpeckers, small treecreepers. Nice to walk through.
