Really lovely walk taking in some of an old railway line, a Riverside walk, and a stretch of moor land with sheep, ponies and once again placid cattle ☺️, easily comparable with the peak district. Once again, a free car park and the added bonus of a great cup of coffee near the end at the Long Ash garden centre.. Bit of a step climb on the second part of the walk. If you reverse the walk, there's a sign saying "private road without permission."" I've no idea why .
