With a visit to the graves of the five partisans/freedom fighters murdered by the Nazis in 1944 near the Black Wall on Hohen Gallin at the St. Martin cemetery on Techelsberg.
Stopover on the way to the Gailtal Valley Start: St. Bartlmä 🅿️ (free) at the bus turnaround. 🚍 We'll soon head through shady forest 🌳🌲 through hollow alleys, sometimes a bit steeper and sometimes not so steep - a great trail. Soon we'll reach the "Hoher Gallin" ⛰️ which would have offered a fantastic view 👀 of Lake Wörthersee, but the trees are already quite tall. A cozy rest area 🥪🥤 invites us to take a break before heading downhill again. There's the cool, well-marked "Hoher Gallin" circular trail, about 7 km long, which we follow to St. Bartlmä
