This route was planned by komoot.
beautiful hike with mostly shade. the fee for the moor is 1€/person. there are a lot of blackberries on the way and you pass a small, nice trattoria.
Great ride. Some icy sections but nothing major. Nice and interesting to do maybe in spring.
A long walk in the Torbiere del Sebino. Much busier than I expected but the weather was really hot for November. The cobbled path to the north was very dry, while the central one was still muddy despite the week of sun.
The 360 hectare nature reserve includes an exceptional swamp landscape in the south of Iseo. The area was formerly used to extract peat and later to extract clay. Today it offers a protected habitat for many animal species that have become rare. It was not used until after 1970 and the renaturation began. During the breeding season from March to July, the direct route through the lake is closed. The main entrance with a large parking lot across the street is located on the outskirts of Iseo, a visitor center provides information about the natural history offers with flyers and trained employees. Three exploration routes have been created by the Park Authority, one in the north, one in the middle and one in the south. The individual routes can be combined without any problems, so that a total of 10 km come together.
ring starting point Monastery of provaglio d iseo, with passage to the internal panoramic tower
The central route is closed until July 28, 2025. A good portion of the loop runs along the very busy and noisy road.
Beautiful nature reserve, unfortunately the central path is still closed. The north route isn't that pretty, it runs parallel to the main road for a long stretch and is really noisy. Lots of cormorants, herons and terrapins seen. And of course tons of rabbits 🐰 🐰 🐰
