Experience a varied circular hike from Medernach with impressive views of Larochette Castle (Fiels), through picturesque forests, idyllic meadows, along bodies of water and through the lively town of Larochette. On this circular walk, you can cross the "Medernach Kengert" barefoot path. Now it's time to take off your shoes and go exploring. Test your balance and coordination here in the Motorikpark.

Follow the course of the spring (Ousterbuer) and arrive in the lively village of Larochette. Numerous cafés and a lively market square await you there. From there, the trail continues with impressive views of Fiels Castle. You will experience a pleasant change between forest, meadows and open landscapes on this route.

Larochette Castle

The village's first buildings date back to the 11th century and are located on a promontory of Luxembourg sandstone, towering about 50 meters above the valley of the Ernz Blanche, a tributary of the Sûre. A fire in 1565 reduced all the buildings on the site to ruins. The house in Créhange is the only one that was thoroughly restored in the 1980s.
