Hard road ride. Very good fitness required. Mostly well-paved surfaces and easy to ride. The starting point of the route is right next to a parking lot.

This route was planned by komoot.
Today, we are going to discover the Luberon, a mountain just above its capital, APT. We will start by climbing the Col du Pointu, which will leave us at the Combe de Lourmarin, which will take us to the village named after the valley, Lourmarin. This is one of the most beautiful villages in France, and it is worth taking a break and visiting it. Now we will have to go straight towards Cucuron, where we will discover a huge pond in the heart of the village. We will then have to go towards the Route de Céreste, and the Col dais masco, 6km long with constant slopes of 5%. Once there, we go down to Cereste, and head through fields of lavender and melons towards Auribeau, ending in Saignon, personally one of the most beautiful villages in the area.
Today I should tackle the eastern part of the massif (Montagne du Luberon) south of Apts. The road surface was okay, so you can also be on the road with the Renner. The villages of Saignon, Cucuron and Lourmarin are definitely worth a stop or visit. However, what I underestimated was the average of 35 degrees on the otherwise very nice lap. Sometimes the weather god means more than well with you. In any case, I was really "cooked".
