Lovely walk along the lake shore a few gentle climbs and decents and some uneven surfaces.
Did the walk on a beautiful mid September day but a month later with the autumn colours might be even better.
I made this trekking tour with my wife and an 11yo boy. Planned with komoot and underestimated the trail, considering it basically flat. It's actually a series of up and down following a path along the lake, sometimes it's a nice gravel path, sometimes it becomes very stony/rooty and definitely wet. It took almost 3 hrs for a little more …

The Ullswater Way - had a nightmare with Kamoot so missed the first bit of day one and the second bit of day 2, but 37km over 2 days, thigh deep snow and -10 at times and a large slide/fall down a mountainside.. Great weekend!.
