Hiking
Located to the east of the town of Sale Marasino, Punta Almana stands at the natural watershed between Sebino, Val d'Inzino and Val Trompia.
From the parking area in Portole, take the paved road up to the notice board with indications of the two circular routes. Continue following the signs for Forcella di Sale, along a steep cart track. Continue along the forest road to the Forcella, a panoramic point towards the lake and launch point for paragliders.
Continue leaving a small chapel on your left. After a few metres, take the path on the right which climbs up among the pines. This section of the path is very narrow and steep in some places. The route continues surrounded by meadows until you reach the summit from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view of Lake Iseo and Monte Isola.
For the descent, follow the ridge in a southerly direction along the path, which offers a breathtaking view of Lake Iseo. The path is exposed to the sun up to the Croce di Pezzuolo, where it enters the wood in the direction of Portole, before rejoining the road made to climb.
