A challenging tour around the lake, with every possible elevation gain. If you like, you can also register for this tour and then take home a mug as a souvenir. Details can be found on the Weissensee tourist website. After completing the tour with my light e-MTB, I still had 130 Wh of the available 540 Wh left. The entire tour was ridden with the lowest ECO assist setting. That means – assuming you're fit – around 100 km with more than 2000 meters of elevation gain 😃 Deviating from the original route, the tour was completed with the Naggel Trail.
a whack just before the east bank, more like 3-4 KM less...
Weißensee circumnavigation with some vantage points and finally with a trail from the Naggler Alm 😀 unfortunately my cell phone battery didn't allow more photos 🙄
From Naggl to the west bank, past the Weiße Wand to the Alm hinterm Brunn, to the east bank and back via Fischeralm and Bodenalm.
Since I don't know the area here in Carinthia, I played it safe for Tour # 2 and chose a local, legal classic. Unfortunately, this runs continuously on forest motorways, partly graveled along freshly cut slopes. The local ÖVP mayor has surely come up with it. The highlight, however, are undoubtedly the alpine huts along the way.

A dream tour! Even though I pushed my bike over the Stosia for over an hour, I love this route, the most beautiful of all the lakes. The Kaiserschmarrn (sweet pancakes) at the Techendorfer Alm is highly recommended. This alpine pasture, with its location and extremely friendly host, is a real highlight for me. Route: Gatschach-Weiße Wand - Alm hinterm Brunn - Stosia (1820m) - Techendorfer Alm - Ostufer - Fischer Alm - Hermagorer Bodenalm - Paterzipf - Techendorf - Gatschach
Today the first holiday tour, around Lake Weissensee. There were so many great views along the route that I couldn't keep up with taking photos without forgetting to ride my bike. The two special highlights were the Naggl Trail and the Panorama West Trail. The Naggl Trail was better and flowier for me! The other one already had some extreme downhill sections, where I preferred to get off and push for a bit.
