Even at over 1,000 m above sea level it was more than 30° C. The first 300 meters of altitude difference, mostly in the blazing sun, were not exactly a dream come true, after that the Täublwaldstraße offers a little more shade. The stretch itself shines more through the great landscape than through MTB feeling - you actually drive consistently on gravel paths. The pump trail on the descent from the middle station to Kleinarl is quite nice, but nothing more.
A very nice mountain bike tour from Kleinarl (free parking at the entrance to the village) to the Steinkaralm. From there, hike to the "Blue Lake," which is now just a small puddle. The trail itself, however, is beautiful now in autumn. Then, descend to the Jägersee and follow the beautiful bike path back to Kleinarl.
First great Kleinarl tour after this bad weather !!! Brilliant tour !!!
