Trail Reviews

Berith
March 8, 2025, ruime ronde vanaf Kasteel Doorwerth

What a great walk this was. Lovely weather of course and really beautiful surroundings. A bit hilly here and there and lots of variety in terms of surroundings. We already knew some parts a bit from e.g. Rosandepad and Molenbeeksepad, but that actually only made it more fun. We will definitely do this again next season, just to see how beautiful it is then.

Our walk started today in the courtyard of Doorwerth Castle. The castle alone is a beautiful sight. We walked straight into the beautiful forests at the castle. Hills, narrow paths, vistas, waterfalls, wooden bridges, we passed them all today. About halfway through the walk we arrived at the Airborne museum in Oosterbeek where we enjoyed a cup of coffee outside on the terrace and then walked back into the forests on the other side of the Utrechtseweg. At the end we took in a few small climbs to finally end up back in the courtyard of Doorwerth Castle. The walk is approximately 80% unpaved.
