A medium-level trail through the stunning Acquetta forests. A scenic trail that winds along the eastern side of the Bardineto area. The trail gently climbs up to Località Scozzerà, and here becomes Alta Via. You pass the viewpoint of Catalano and enter the Acquetta grove, the southern edge of the beautiful Melogno beech forest. Continue along the ridge to take in the stunning view from the panoramic point of Monte Mezzano, once a base of Napoleonic troops. The trail arrives at Cian dell'Adè, a splendid grassy field where a partisan memorial stone is located. A scenic trail that winds along the eastern side of the Bardineto area. The trail arrives at Cian dell'Adè, a splendid grassy field where a partisan memorial stone is located. Here the trail forks, and you now have several options: you either turn back shortly to follow the Avioai trail or continue in the direction of Località Castellaro, where the trail bends left on a scenic single track. Both ways bring you back to Bardineto's Castle. https://www.finaleoutdoor.com/en/trails-walls/le-foreste-dell-acquetta
Some marsh puddles in Pianbello due to the recent rains. Finally found the right path for the descent from Pianbello to Cormore, a pity that from the farmhouse to Bardineto in an instant and in just a few km the whole difference in height is cleared.
Beautiful loop trail exploring the Bardineto area towards Melogno: Alta Via, towering beech trees and the enchanting Cormore trail for the way back. You start from the lovely hamlet of Principi on a paved road which soon turns into a gravel track. 11 hairpin bends one after the other lead you to Località Scorezzà: at the crossroads, turn left onto the Alta Via dei Monti Liguri and continue up on a very gentle incline to Località Catalano. Here you can appreciate a stunning view and take a refreshing break. The Alta Via allows you to immerse in the wonderful Melogno forest until you reach Località Rampione. Leave the Alta Via and turn left to bypass Monte Grosso. Pass Piambello and get to the start of Gobbo and Cormore trails. You tackle some ups and downs in a single track to reach the side facing Bardineto, where a delightful trail running through a beech grove takes you near the Cormore farmhouse and joins the ancient mule track. https://www.finaleoutdoor.com/en/trails-walls/anello-delle-cormore
Cloudy. The surface is mainly humid, in some stretches there are large puddles of mud that cover the entire width of the sheep track, but the descents are dry enough to avoid slipping on roots, rocks and hairpin bends. The last stretch after Cascina Cormore has worsened considerably since last year to the point of forcing us to return to the stony road. Some new sheep tracks opened by woodcutters in Pianbello also disoriented us and forced us to go back and look for the right road to Cormore.
