Trail Reviews

Stevie
June 24, 2025, Gortin Glen Forest Hike

A lovely walk through the forest to the sound of running water. Hike requires a moderate level of fitness, as the route follows gravel paths and tarmacked forest roads. Not suitable for push chairs or wheelchairs, as some of the paths are narrow, steep and rough. Pack some snacks and water. Don't forget waterproofs as the weather can change very quickly. The views of the Sperrins and Tyrone are spectacular and well worth the effort.
