Very nice tour, varied over meadow and forest with beautiful views.🙂
Just wanted to take a little walk. Coming out is my first big hike in a year
A lovely little Black Forest trail with the added challenge of Beilstein... about 170 irregularly steep steps along the impressive cliff! Recommendation: Uphill hiking is possible, especially in wet conditions...
Very nice hike with perfect marking. Always easy up and down. Once on the stairs exit, only briefly. Very nice also for children. There cave and recreation area with bench.
It starts at the Liebelsberg water tower. Over the Feenwiese to the Wolfsgrube. Back over the Beilfelsen. Beautiful, well-signposted premium hiking trail. Walked it many times 🥾🥾🥾 and still 😀😃😀
From the Liebelsberg water tower it went over the fields to the edge of the forest and through the forest to the Feenwiese. At the fairy meadow there is a rocking lounger and a group of tables. After refreshment, we followed the hiking trail to a vantage point with a wonderful view of Zavelstein. We then came to the wolf's pit, which clearly explains its function with an information board. On a forest path we walked longer above the main road, accompanied by the traffic noise, to the ascent to the Beilffelsen. From here the path became more exciting again, even if it was quite steep uphill over stairs. Halfway up, the children could climb a bit in a kind of cave and enjoy the view from the Beilffelsen at the top. When the wind picked up, we hiked first through the forest and later across the fields back to the parking lot.
After the final service at the Bible retreat "Haus Felsengrund," we spontaneously decided to skip lunch at the house. Instead, we set off on this lovely circular trail to the Wolfsgrube. It was wonderfully relaxing to hear the birds singing their praises and experience the green of the forest. The climb to the Beilfelsen and the rock formation there were the secret highlights of the tour. We still had lunch – in Calw.
Today we went on a smaller tour, the Wolfsgrube. The start was in Liebelberg, Neubulach at the water tower with beautiful graffiti. Past the forest kindergarten, which seemed to be completely new, we walked along the mountain slope and viewing points to the Wolfsgrube. This was previously covered with brushwood and used as a trap. We continued to the Beilffelsen. Again some steps and a cave in the rock were waiting for us. Of course we went through it and a bit of adventurous spirit arose... just the way I wanted it. At the top of the rock we sat in the sun and took a break. We headed towards the starting point on beautiful paths. The wild crocus is slowly spreading here too😉😊👍 A pleasant round that we both enjoyed.
