On this demanding tour you will make your way to the vicinity of Schenna, a town in the east of Meran.
Starting from the Familienalm, the mountain station of the Taser cable car, you begin your hike through the dense forest towards the Ifingerhütte. During the sporty ascent you will pass boulder fields and a mountaineer's chapel. Arrived at the Ifinger Scharte, the view of the Texel Group and the surrounding area of Meran is clear. After a somewhat arduous descent, you can return to Meran via the Falzeben cable car.
To get to the valley station of the Taser cable car, you can simply take line 231 Schenna - Verdins at the Meran bus station. At the Schenna Dorf stop, take line 233 of the Taser cable car and get to your destination in around 50 minutes. On the way back you can take the Meran 2000 cable car towards the valley. Once in the valley, take the “SASA” city bus in the direction of Meran train station.
