Before heading home, we did a short, flat ride along the canal. Unfortunately, the asphalt in this area was a bit bumpy and damaged in places. The bike paths through the forest are always great. Some sections along the canal were also brand new and had been paved. 🤩The more urban section from the canal to the finish was rather mediocre, and the last stretch (Rue du Faubourg) was really scary because of the heavy traffic. So, it's better to park/start somewhere else next time. All in all, a nice ride. However, we found the tour from the lecture much more appealing.
From Haguenau in the Sahara dust into the savannah, oh no, Saverne...., Nice tour on the Canale de la Marne au Rhin - sometimes it works without hm😅
Nice mountain bike trip starting from Wintershouse on a course essentially "cycle path"! Destination of the day: Mont Saint Michel!!!? For that you have to go to Saint Jean de Saverne! You will find a chapel, a bar of the Vosges club, witches and a breathtaking panorama (this day good weather). Accessing the promontory is somewhat worthwhile on a fairly short but steep access road! The view of the plain is magnificent and alone is worth the trip! Return via Saverne and the canal.
