A bit of a long journey, but so worth it. The weather threatened thunderstorms and rain on the way there. When we arrived, we had perfect hiking weather. The path through the Lochbach Gorge is spectacular. You'll need to be sure-footed. Some of the bridges looked a bit old and dilapidated. A cool path in summer. Such beautiful paths and views. Sorry for the many photos. I could have taken so many more. 😅
The Lochbachklamm is a narrow notched valley (narrow valley) in the Knüll. The Lochbach flows through it. This flows into the Efze. An approximately 1 km long hiking trail with a total of 21 bridges and footbridges leads through the gorge. The Waldbach overcomes a difference in altitude of 150, the ascent is easy to manage.
🤣 It was great again 🤣 The mood and the track !!! From the hiking car park in 𝕎𝕒𝕝𝕝𝕖𝕟𝕤𝕥𝕖𝕚𝕟 in the Knüllwald, it went through the beautiful 𝕃𝕠𝕔𝕙𝕓𝕒𝕔𝕙𝕜𝕝𝕒𝕞𝕞 on the 🄻🄾🄲🄷🄱🄰🄲🄷🄿🄵🄰🄳, over narrow, bumpy sidewalks and many wooden walkways, on a circular route through the Knüllwald. We were rewarded with fine views 👀 and good hiking weather ⛅️. The entertaining route is a circuit of approx. 8.5 km. In some places and in certain wind conditions, the A7 🚙🚐 can be heard, but that doesn't detract from the whole thing. At the end there were very, very delicious fresh homemade dishes (vegetarian burger 🍔 👍🏻, currywurst with homemade sauce and fries 🍟) when we stopped at "Strandbad no. 1". Very nicely located restaurant below the 𝔹𝕦𝕣𝕘𝕣𝕦𝕚𝕟𝕖 𝕎𝕒𝕝𝕝𝕖𝕟𝕤𝕥𝕖𝕚𝕟 at the natural swimming pool. A wonderful hiking day girls 👩🏼🌾
... explored the Lochbach path in the Knüll Nature Park today. A beautiful circular route. Good fitness and good footwear are required...
The Lochbachklamm has been on my list for a while, I read about it in the newspaper and also saw tours on komoot. Sultry, warm heat, so I thought, take a look at the Lochbachklamm, water in the shady forest seems ideal at that temperature. Yeeeee, what can I say, I should have lowered my expectations of a gorge a bit. I felt it was more like a stream in the forest with a beautifully laid out path (a stream that had very little water despite the heavy rain of the last few weeks). The path through the "gorge" is really beautifully done, the many bridges over the stream, the dense forest. But what I understand by a gorge is a bit more water, sometimes with small waterfalls. Maybe it was just the wrong time of year for it. After the Lochbachklamm we continued on the Lochbachpfad, past meadows and fields with many wildflowers and shortly before the end over the Ebigköpfchen (429m, 45th highest peak near Hülsa 😅)...
On a day off you have to go for a walk, and it was also a good opportunity to test new equipment and take advantage of the weather window. A beautiful and varied hiking trail, through forest, across fields and then through the Lochbach 'klamm'. It was fun to run and Knoppers also enjoyed running in open spaces and splashing around in the water. My personal tip: you shouldn't expect an alpine gorge; It's not that bad after all.
Today I took advantage of the nice weather again for a little hike in the Knüll Nature Park: luckily I was out early and had the gorge almost to myself. At the beginning I counted the bridges, but at some point I forgot 😅.... There are definitely a lot of them 😊! I walked the gorge a few years ago, but it is even more beautiful than I remembered. The rest of the path is also varied: fields, meadows, beautiful views, forest - everything is there. I just found the section on the castle path a bit boring. Overall a nice, relaxed fairytale path that was fun. Tip: Avoid the weekend or get there early. When I got to the car, there were still a lot of people making their way towards the gorge....
Beautiful round. Pre-hike of TSV IMMENHAUSEN for June 4th, 2023. Great area, graduating in BEACH BATH No.1 Delicious kitchen👍🏻👩🏼🌾

Definitely a beautiful circular tour, which I highly recommend in its entirety. Because I was so enthusiastic about it, I took the liberty of filming the entire route. If you'd like to learn more in advance, I recommend the following video:
