The short circular hike to the Taborhöhe is perfect for a sunset tour. Once at the top you have a magnificent view of the setting sun over the picturesque Faaker See - simply unforgettable. The route is also ideal for families. The little ones can let off steam on the playground and climb through the treetops on the Tabor in the forest ropes course.
You can easily reach the starting point in Neuegg am Faaker See by bus. A short climb takes you up into the forest before you hike comfortably to the playground above Egg. The last 100 meters uphill to Tabor are steeper. You will be rewarded with a fantastic view over the blue Faaker See.
In addition to the forest ropes course, you can stop off at the Taborhütte or practice archery. Back you follow the path through the forest along the edge of the terrain. Every now and then you can catch a glimpse of the lake. You finally get back to the starting point via Taborstraße.
