Beautiful distant view. Not overcrowded through the week. There was a strong wind...
Unfortunately, due to the weather ☃️🌨️ some paths were not to be walked. Despite everything, an absolutely worth seeing tour. 👌🏼
On 06/14 I hiked up from the foot of the Feldbergbahn and did a little "round" at the top (visited both towers) and back around the outside.
On our trip we made a detour to the Feldberg. We were lucky, we had a view of the Alps.
Today there was good visibility. The climb to the Bismarck Monument is not that difficult, but the gondola (mountain ride with entrance to the tower) is definitely too expensive at €14. At the Bismarck Monument there is a board with an overview of the mountains that can be seen. I missed these on the Feldberg summit in the direction of the Vosges.
In addition to our Fichtelberg, Ochsenkopf, Brocken, we were on the highest mountain in the German low mountain range today.
The Feldberg is 1493 m above sea level. NHN the highest mountain in Baden-Württemberg. It also represents the highest elevation of all German low mountain ranges and is therefore the highest mountain in Germany outside the Alps. The Feldbergturm is located on the Seebuck, a former radio tower that serves as a lookout tower and has housed a Black Forest ham museum since 2013. Actually, today I was supposed to do the Feldbergsteig leisure trail. However, the weather spoiled my plans. So I did a short walk on the Feldberg plateau with a lot of fog and drizzle. Oh well, next time then.
