Enjoy the sweet life on the Dolce Vita way. The path is perfect for children, because there is a lot to discover along the way. Although it is only a walk at almost three kilometers, there is still enough time to play extensively. The starting point is the Madritsche mountain station.
You walk the first section on the so-called Aqua Trail. Wooden canals, carved figures and water wheels make the path exciting for kids - especially on a hot summer's day. At the end of the section there is a playground for romping.
The path continues around the Rosskofelteich. The route is also well developed for prams. Not far from the mountain station is the Madritsche summit cross. From here you can enjoy a wonderful view over the wide Nassfeld, the Gartnerkofel, the Julian Alps and as far as Slovenia.
The Millennium Express cable car takes you from Tröpolach to the Madritsche mountain station. For a trip up and down, adults pay 18 euros, children half.
