Hard road ride. Very good fitness required. Mostly well-paved surfaces and easy to ride. The starting point of the route is right next to a parking lot.

This route was planned by komoot.
I wanted to escape the rain so I didn't recognize the entire route, but the Col de la Colombière finish is painful! The last 3 kilometers were in total fog, and the temperature is very low at the top...
Departure at 8.15 a.m. for the 91km circuit with 284 participants. The ascent of the Colombière pass went well, I had better feelings than the previous days. A small group of around twenty riders then formed at the bottom of the descent, before Saint Jean de Sixt... The problem is that there were only two of us riding, the others refused to take over! Quite frustrating... In the end, they were unhooked on the flat surface and in the rather demanding ascent of Mont-Saxonnex. The road was unfortunately not closed, some car drivers did not hesitate to overtake dangerously .. even if it meant getting stuck with a car coming from the front and not being able to pass. I had to dismount in the ascent, and it also happened with a cyclist 200m in front of me: only organizational downside of this cyclosportive in my opinion, the opener motorcycles could protect the cyclists more. Final result, 61st. Objective of finishing in the first third achieved, but I was hoping for better given the sensations! Dependent contrast... For some reason the breaks are included in the average 😬
