Hike with good friends. The waterfalls had a lot of water and the atmosphere with fog, sun and the sound of the water was just fantastic. Always nice, this hike.
Today I hiked a tour from @PyrenäenTomTom. I walked up the waterfalls at a leisurely pace. Others were in a hurry, including a few joggers. 😅 At one point you had to jump across the stream. At the height of the Wiedenfelsen there were still small patches of snow to admire. The Falkenfelsen cost me a lot of nerves today, including a slight panic attack. 😱🙈 A single hiker came towards me. She said that she doesn't suffer from vertigo, but today she knows what it means to be afraid of heights. Luckily you can turn back. I should have done that too. 🫣 The route was very easy to walk. 👍Unfortunately, the visibility was poor only because of the Sahara dust. I also now know that one of the two wolves was nicknamed the Austrian. A couple at the Herta Hut told me that. Unfortunately I didn't see a wolf. He was somewhere else and scared other hikers. 😅
The Gertelbach waterfalls are an absolute highlight. Almost 3 kilometers uphill from one water level to the next, over small bridges and stones from one highlight to the next, stopping off at the Kohlbergwiese to eat tarte flambée. Except for about 2 kilometers, all natural paths. Simply great💯😍
Unfortunately, the recorded time is not correct, including pictures and breaks you have to reckon with at least 4 to 5 hours. Hiking poles and high hiking poles are recommended. The🐻
The Gertelbach circular trail is always full of events. The waterfalls are particularly beautiful at the moment due to the large amount of water that the Gertelbach carries. The official route does not go directly past the Falkenfelsen, but you should definitely make the detour past the rock formation to the Hertahütte, and not just because of the view.
Beautiful tour with varied terrain, but a challenging route... You should be a bit experienced. I really enjoyed the stop at the Waldgasthaus Kohlbergwiese, the food was delicious and the prices were moderate... I would do it again any time 🥰
Hello 🌞 today the 🐕🦺🐕 were in focus. Since the meadows are not being mown here at the moment, we went to Bühlertal today 🌲🌲 Goal: Gertelsbachrunde 😎 I decided to do the round the other way round so that the waterfalls were at the end. The 🐕🦺🐕 were happy about the 🛁 😅 Our first short stop was at Kohlbergwiese, the restaurant there was well attended. But we continued uphill to Herta Hütte. There we enjoyed the view of Bühlertal / Rheintal in good weather.😃 Afterwards we headed to Falkenfelsen ⛰️ where the first challenge awaits us. After crossing the rock we are faced with a descent that the dogs cannot manage. That means going back and walking around 😅😅 The two of them 🐕🐕🦺 are already pretty warm, so now we're heading straight towards the water 💦 A quick stop at the kiosk at Wiedenfelsen to get some vitamins with a cold hop drink 🍺😎 So, to finish off, we're walking along the waterfalls, cooling off and having a lot of fun for my two 🐕🦺🐕😍😍 Overall, a great round with, thank God, not so much hustle and bustle on the route 👌
We walked the white dot tour. This is given as 4 hours. There is also the yellow dot tour with 2 hours. The Gertelsbacher waterfalls are always worth a tour, even if only little water flows.
