Ruins of a once magnificent palace complex from the 13th to 15th centuries. Very good presentation.

Great, reasonably surfaced gravel trails through Clashindarroch Forest.

Huntly Town Centre

Highlight • Settlement

Huntly’s most popular attraction is the castle but the town itself is well worth a wonder. It's on the Speyside Whisky trail. The river Deveron flows just to the north and the Nordic Ski centre is here.

Great route. There's a minor change where you come off the A920, the marked route is now closed off so just take the next left, and keep taking lefts heading for Wellheads Farm, which will bring you back onto the original planned route.
