A GPS device or a fully charged phone with the route downloaded is also highly recommended.
Beautiful ride! Breathtaking views and long stretches in the middle of the forests! It surrounds the Ridracoli dam (which to be honest can only be seen from a couple of points...). ⚠️⚠️ Trusting another user's track we covered it on gravel, but in my opinion an XC is much more suitable. Not so much for the slopes which, although tough, are manageable, but for the looseness of the ground especially when going downhill: with a 110 fork you can go down faster, with greater comfort and with less fatigue on your arms. Last but not least: you attack the climbs with greater speed.⚠️⚠️
Last uphill stretch quite challenging and long (for me)
