Today's second summit also started from Pommelsbrunn. Due to a blockage, we went uphill along the road shortly after Pommelsbrunn. Next time I would try to avoid this on the other side of the valley. Otherwise again a great tour, with beautiful paths and rocky forest. The Leitenberg offers no view, but the ruins of Lichtenstein and the Kreuzberg do, if you accept a small amount of climbing. I left this out today. Another great tour!
At first, the tour follows a road for a bit. Once you've left that section behind you, it gets better. The climb is slow and steady, partly on the 1,000-meter elevation gain. Once you've reached the summit of the Kreuzberg, you can choose: either turn left straight towards the summit of the Leitenberg, or head right into the rocky terrain towards the summit of the Kreuzberg, which gets a bit higher and rockier as you go. You then have to scramble up to the summit cross. You could also call it "climbing for the poor like us." 😁 However, since there are no safety ropes or anything similar, you should still exercise extreme caution. There's a high risk of injury if you fall. Once you reach the top, you'll be rewarded with a magnificent view. The climb continues to the summit of the Leitenberg, the highest point of the hike. From here on, it was all downhill... Anyone with knee problems might not have as much fun from here on. Personally, I'd recommend taking the escalator down.

Beautiful, varied tour to the Kreuzberg, Leitenberg and the Lichtenstein ruins. The signage is not optimal in two places at the start of the hike. It is worth taking a look at the navigation with the app here. After that, the route is perfectly signposted. The detour to the Kreuzberg is a must. At the
