This route was planned by komoot.
A hike we had tried a few times before but failed due to weather conditions. This time we had mist and a little wind but nothing too serious. This is a tough hike with some serious elevation, not one for those not confident in hiking abilities, serious exposure and sections of scrambling. From the Torridon car park you have 880m of climbing straight in one go, it's a toughie. From there the technical sections begin with scrambling down before reaching the three horns. For this hike we took the path around the first horn due to the winds picking up. The path around is not an easy option, the path is narrow and has serious exposure, it is just an option if the winds are high. Once you've tackled the three horns, you just have the ledge to get through before a stroll back to the Torridon car park. The ledge has some steep descending, some of which may need to be tackled backwards! Good luck!!
