Trail Reviews

Holger Melzl
June 7, 2024, Regionaler Naturpark Montemarcello-Magra: von Montemarcello nach Monte Murlo und den Golf der Dichter – Rundtour

The climb to Monte Murlo is quite challenging. It is muddy in places because of a small stream. Perhaps you could find an alternative route. There is actually nothing to see at the top. The forest covers the view. The "botanical garden" is no longer maintained -- or I have not understood the concept. The way back along the steep bank on a prepared mule track is quite nice.
