Very beautiful, the road that goes from Borghetto S. Spirito up to the Toirano yoke! A regular climb, on a road with little traffic that passes through spectacular environments. From the Toirano yoke I had two options, either go down (a little) to Calizzano and go back up to the Melogno hill, or stop in Bardineto and go back through the Scravaion hill, I chose this second option because I wanted to see the spectacular village of Castelvecchio di Rocca Barbena again, a beautiful medieval village dominated by its castle. From here a descent without major problems brought me back in a short time to the "furnace" of the Ligurian coast. For this climb, bring water supplies, I didn't find any fountains until after the Toirano yoke.
Left the coast today in the sunshine and first went for a little stroll through the old town of Albenga👍. We were very pleasantly surprised, among other things, by the many gender towers. It had very beautiful flowers on all corners and dinosaurs in the middle 🦕. The road up to Bardineto is awesome to drive, no traffic and always about 6% incline. Are right through Zuccarello👍, small but nice 😉 Unfortunately the weather didn't play along, it was quite cold with 8C and the clouds were hanging in the mountains. The road from Bardineto down to Loano is also great to drive with a fairly constant gradient. Has a bit more traffic though... but not really much. Route could well be driven in the other direction.
