From the Oberhofalm car park to the Sulzenalm in approx. 1h1 / 4 further to Sulzenhals and Sulzenschneid with the summit cross at 1950 m in approx. 1 hour. Great all-round panorama of the impressive mountain world and the mountains within reach. Then down over a steep and very stony path, list path, to the cattle field, very demanding because a lot of scree. Rinderfeld impressive with mountain range and back to Oberhofalm. Every step of the way, Bischofsmütze or other peaks and rock formations and mountain scenery in company, large pine fields, silver thistles, Erika, simply fantastic and MEGA. Photos and words cannot describe how amazingly beautiful and fascinating and impressive this tour is.
Take the hiking bus to Filzmoos, starting at the Oberhofalm car park. From there you can hike in a few minutes to the small Almsee. Then a small but steep ascent (approx. 30 minutes) leads up to Kasboden via Almboden. Here we treat and a small. Have a look at the steep, towering rock faces of the Gosaustein. Then we continue uphill on the Linzerweg / former smugglers' path, past the Kesselwand, which leads us to another green basin - which is referred to as Rinderfeld 1725 hm. We then continue through a large mountain pine field. A short, steep climb of about 30 minutes uphill to the summit cross on the Sulzen Schneid 1950 m. When the weather is nice, you can see as far as the Hohe Tauern, the Hochkönig, the Tennengebirge and the Bischofsmütze Then the descent to Sulzenhals 1827 hm and over the Sulzenalm / Einkehr.
Today was the last tour in the Salzburg region. We already suspected it could be a wet adventure ☔️ and therefore opted for a small alpine pasture round - with a summit and the option to change something spontaneously (I'm particularly good at that 🤭). We went to Filzmoos. We started at the P-Oberhofalm 🏡, hiked to the Unterhofalm 🏡 and continued to the Almsee 🏝, and even made a small detour to the chapel ⛪️. Then it started to drizzle 💧 - the starting signal for our rain jackets 🧥. After following the alpine pasture path for a few more meters, our way led us to the Rinderfeld, which resembled a huge Hobbit meadow. Surprisingly beautiful! There were no cattle there, but many grazing horses instead 🤔?! We carefully made our way across the marshy meadows until it soon went steeply uphill in zigzags. We were aiming for the Sulzenschneid summit ⛰️ at an altitude of 1950 m. There was no wide, beautiful view today. The sky was gray, the Dachstein shrouded in rain clouds. Quickly took a summit photo 📸 and moved on quickly. At the Sulzenhals, a small herd of cows blocked our way and only wanted to be politely asked to let us pass 🙄😅. As soon as we arrived at the Sulzenalm 🏡, it started to pour. So we stopped, ordered delicacies, and really enjoyed ourselves again to finish off 👩🏼🤝👨🏻👩🏼🤝👨🏻. Tomorrow then departure and onward journey... 🚗💨💨💨 🚙💨💨💨
