Departing from Beauvais train station (1h10mn from Paris-Nord), this route first of all allows you to discover the assets of the Oise prefecture: place Jeanne-Hachette and town hall, cathedral, MUDO, marsh Saint- Quentin and lake Canada. Its bucolic route then leads, through the picturesque fishing huts of the Milly ponds and gentle hills above the Thérain valley, to the first recesses of the Pays de Bray. Km 28, we discover Gerberoy, pearl distinguished by the association Les plus beaux villages de France, which deserves time to explore its cobbled streets and its garden Le Sidaner. The hilly tourist route of the Pays de Bray (we are therefore in the Normandy Oise) continues via Wambez, Bois Aubert, Orsimont. We cross the Avenue verte Londres-Paris (AVLP) and the N31 for Saint-Germer de Fly and its abbey. The return to Beauvais is via the AVLP cycle path, dismounted at each of the stops which give priority to cross roads. This route can be shortened by 10 km (without Saint-Germer de Fly) from Wambez (km 29) via Hanvoile, Villebray, Blacourt to find the AVLP at km 51. It can be done with all types of bikes.
