Trail Reviews

Claudia
April 15, 2022, Selztalradweg

Very nice tour with well-developed bike paths. When we had left Alzey and drove in the Selztal, there was a wonderful calm. No car noise and no aircraft noise. So also a rest for the ears.

one sees little of the Selz, signs are inadequate

Translated by Google

It was freezing cold, but somehow also nice and there wasn't much going on.

Started in Orbis at the Selz source and then more or less drove along the mostly well-marked path via Alzey, Nieder-Olm, Hahnheim to the Rhine in Ingelheim. From there I had to drive home via Bingen (I saved this route separately). All in all, the route was great and I had fun, even though I usually prefer hiking.

This tour is certainly one of the most scenic bike tours I've ever cycled. PREMIUM tour. The conclusion with Roman pizza (pinsa) in Thomas the wine bar was a great end to the tour. https://maps.app.goo.gl/jLRdxAdfLtUMPQJW9
