This route was planned by komoot.
The path starts 100 meters from the square of the Geopaleontological Museum of Cava Bomba, on the left of the road towards the center of Cinto Euganeo. The path goes up the calcareous south side of Monte Cinto. After a stone house, you walk along a vineyard lying on terraces and surrounded by olive trees, then cross a black locust wood uphill and continue taking the forest track that crosses a thermophilic oak grove rich in downy oak, ash, heather, rock rose, butcher's broom and wild asparagus. After a short uphill curve, equipped with a wooden fence, you reach a plateau where the old dirt road once used by rhyolite quarrymen converges; here there are some masegne, volcanic blocks left to play the role of benches. From the plateau, keep left and continue along the cart track in the chestnut grove; after a couple of gentle bends, the view opens up over the central southern hills, from Venda to the nearby Gemola with Villa Beatrice d'Este, up to the more distant M. Rua and the hills of Monselice and Baone.
Beautiful trail, also suitable for those who are not too fit and with fantastic viewpoints! In autumn it is the top!
