The Pista Heidi, also known as the “Camino de la Sima de la Salud,” is a route that will immerse you in impressive natural landscapes in the province of Cáceres. The Heidi Track is approximately 7 kilometers and crosses the spectacular Ambroz Valley, in the province of Cáceres. The starting point of the Heidi Track is located in the center of Hervás. As you progress along the trail, you immerse yourself in a forest of chestnut and oak trees, whose leaves change color depending on the season, providing a unique visual experience all year round. Be sure to bring comfortable walking shoes, water, and a snack to enjoy at one of the panoramic viewpoints along the way. One of the most exciting moments of the trail is the impressive Chorrera de Hervás waterfall or Cascada del Pinajarro, where the water falls from a height of 20 meters, creating a magical and refreshing atmosphere. In spring and summer, this is the perfect place for a break and a dip in the crystal clear waters.
