Glenbrittle Campsite

Highlight • Rest Area

The Glenbrittle Campsite is a brilliant base for adventures in this part of Skye. If you fancy a climb or a walk it's perfectly situated for access to the Cuillin Ridge, while the easier terrain of Coire Lagan and the Fairy Pools are not far away.

The campsite is clean and basic with glorious views up to the mountains and out to sea. The cafe serves good coffee and food and the shop sells snacks and supplies as well as camping essentials.

Open April to September.

Lochan Coire Lagan

Highlight • Viewpoint

A beautiful loch in the corrie, easily reached on the path up from Glen Brittle. Picnic or Swim, its ideal. This may be enough for an outing, but the peaks of Sgur Alasdair and the Inn Pinn can be reached continuing on from here.

Eas Mor Waterfall

Highlight • Gorge

Eas Mor is a single 70m drop of the cliffs and into the gorge below. The easiest viewing point is from the other side of the gorge where most of the highlight photos are taken from. It is possible to walk up the gorge from further downstream to reach the base of the waterfall but it's quite overgrown and a bit of a scramble.

Really nice hike, paths are good and taster of mountain climb at the top, beautiful views
A fantastically beautiful and highly recommended walk in the Cuillins, including a swim in the Coire Lagan.

There's not much to say about it, except: do it!

A quick early morning walk to catch the cool hours of the day. Beautiful walk this even without heading to the tops. Very good quality trails - makes me smile though as the walking on these is so very far off what hiking on Skye really is like.
Took 4.5 hours. Super tough climb...sometimes so steep that you really had to climb with hands and feet. But very impressive!
