Highlight • Cycleway

A stunning, dead straight, pan flat section of tarmac with views across to the Isle of Wight on a clear day. Excellent fun if you catch the wind in the right direction. Head east in the summer for some of the best sunrises in the area.

Bench overlooking Hatchet Pond

Highlight • Viewpoint

Hatchet Pond is the largest area of fresh water in the New Forest and is home to a diverse array of wildlife. From Beaulieu Road, you can drop into the car park, where there is usually an ice cream van in the summer. It's a fabulous spot for watching the sunset, and you'll find a bench by the water's edge.
