Bath is the English equivalent of Baden-Baden. (Although its German twin city is Braunschweig 🤷‍♂️).

England's only hot springs produce plenty of warm water at around 45°C, which has a slightly sulfurous smell and a musty taste. The Romans appreciated this and built a large bathing complex here.
